Opera (1987)

Crimefighting crows, ravens to be precise, are perfectly acceptable in the fantastic film world of Dario Argento. Dare we look away or blink, when bound, needles are taped beneath our eyelids? If we accept Mr Pleasance, his monkey butler and supernatural insects then a sleuthing corvus should be a breeze.

A love affair had already ended when dear Daria upon looking through a spy hole takes a bullet that passes through her mind and this looks incredible.

Opera is a truly amazing late giallo full of cunning and twisted set pieces and set, as the title suggests, in the world of opera.

Do not miss this one.
