Bloodstained Shadow, The / Solamente nero (1978)

3.0 out of 5

The Bloodstained Shadow from Antonio Bido looks pretty good and there is some nice cinematography. The score is from Stelvio Cipriani.

There are some decent performances in the film. Lino Capolicchio stars in his first film after The House With Laughing Windows.

Unfortunately the film is fairly standard for the genre and there is nothing in there that has not been seen so many times before. There are the clerical themes of Don't Torture The Duckling and the film is set on one of the islands near Venice.
