Killer With A Thousand Eyes, The / Los mil ojos del asesino (1974)

2.5 out of 5

A Spanish and Italian co-production directed by Juan Bosch. The Killer With A Thousand Eyes is a Eurocrime and giallo with a great deal of emphasis on procedure.

While the unseen killer gloved motif puts one in mind of more standard giallo fare the maverick cop who lets his fists do the talking suggests something more akin to the areas we normally see occupied by Maurizio Merli and his ilk.

While possibly not as interesting as Blazing Magnum for example and certainly no where as good as What Have They Done to Your Daughters? this drug related genre hybrid does keep the viewer engaged and the story moves along at a steady enough pace.

Star Raf Baldassarre has an uncredited role in Juan Bosch's later The Killer Wore Gloves. Julián Ugarte from All The Colours Of The Dark aslo puts in an appearance.
