SS Girls / Casa privata per le SS (1977)

While Nazisploitation films often involve bizarre and torturous experiments on political prisoners, this absurd genre entry is about a group of prostitutes who are trained by Nazis in everything from ballet to hand-to-hand combat for the purpose of using sex and seduction to get confessions out of a group of Nazi generals who may be plotting to double-cross Das Fuhrer.

Notable for an over-the-top performance courtesy of Gabriele Carrara , who here resembles a Nazi version of Crispin Glover. At one point he dresses up like a Nazi pope to conduct a melodramatic mock trial involving the generals and his facial expressions and emotions run the gamut from happy to sad to angry within a matter of seconds.

SS Girls is a fun and sleazy entry into the Nazisploitation genre courtesy of Bruno Mattei. This odd and somewhat unique film is a standout and is worth seeking out for genre enthusiasts.
