Demons / Demoni (1985)

4.0 out of 5

Demons comes from the creative minds of Lamberto Bava and Dario Argento, who join forces to create a fun, cinematic rollercoaster ride of carnage. Although some scenes either feel disjointed or totally unnecessary, the demons' scenes are the true entertainment value. Short on story, the film is neck deep in gore and scares using some phenomenal creature makeup effects. It is also fun to hear artists like Motley Crue, Billy Idol and Rick Springfield blaring on the soundtrack, giving the film a legitimate 80's feel. Followed by a plethora of sequels.
