Watch Me When I Kill / Il gatto dagli occhi di giada (1977)

4.0 out of 5

Directed by Antonio Bido, this giallo is largely influenced by the early 70's works of Dario Argento, featuring some fantastic murder set pieces highly reminiscent of the Maestro's early work.

The brilliant score by Trans Europa Express is exceptionally dark and creepy, giving an overall sense of increasing dread and foreboding which creates even more tension and suspense, thus adding spice to an already potent tapestry of stylish cinematography and dark ambient lighting.

Watch Me When I Kill is an above average giallo and is not to be missed by fans of the genre.
