Dead Men Don’t Count / ¿Quién grita venganza? (1968)

3.5 out of 5

Anthony Steffen and Mark Damon are a pair of playboy bounty killers who aren’t above teasing the limits of the law themselves. The smirking heroes land themselves in trouble after trying to con the town of Blakestone Hill. The trouble they find is a typical, land grabbing, power hungry town patriarch, aided and abetted by corrupt officialdom and/or vicious outlaw gangs, spaghetti western plotline.

Dead Men Don’t Count briskly stomps through the whole affair with an efficient matter-of-factness. Bad guys are dispensed with, relationships are formed, lives lost, lives won and the by the end of it all Damon and Steffen are off to carry on their adventures in the wild Italo-West.
