Fuller Report, The / Rapporto Fuller, base Stoccolma (1968)

Fans who may not have gotten enough of Ken Clark playing Dick Malloy in the Agent 077 trilogy, or Dick Hallam in Tiffany Memorandum, will surely enjoy Clark playing another Dick for director Sergio Grieco, Dick Worth, in The Fuller Report, not as an agent or a journalist but a racecar driver, of all things, thrust in to some serious espionage business.

Not eschewing the usual Cold War inspired conflicts, the mystery fueled story still doesn’t feel worn-for-wear and doesn’t get too confusing. Some of the comedy is a bit of a letdown, though, considering how funny Clark could be in the aforementioned films with Grieco. It’s all still good fun, with Flemingesque iconography and all the excitement of a Saturday morning action cartoon.
